{Em on a climbing trip}

My oldest daughter is at a girls camp this week. I miss her. It's the first time in five years I haven't been at the same camp as a volunteer. Wow life turns on a dime, doesn't it?

But the good news is that I get to spend the week uninterrupted with this kid.

Which means we will probably be doing a lot of this:

{She's got an obsession with shoes}

Look at those cheeks! I die over those cheeks. And those toes. Baby feet are one of my top ten favorite things.  I'm not kidding. They made the short list. And that chin is way up there too. I used to bury my face in the folds under that chin and smell that sweet baby goodness. And those chubby fingers. Argh. Stop me now before I get her out of bed just to nuzzle her ears. I'm mad crazy for my offspring. The end.

P.S.

So sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been under the weather. If you've contacted me recently and have not heard back don't take it personally. I'm working on getting better and it's practically a full time job.

Love you all. Thanks for sticking around.

Ooh, I want to snuggle that baby now,too! Too bad she's older and it would totally freak her out. :-)

Hope you get feeling well soon! I'm here if you need to give me a call!

Wow - the look on your older daughters face. I don't want to mess with her. Your younger daughter is full of cuteness. I love babies too. Chubby baby feet, hands, legs and soft skin, big eyes and sweet smiles. Oh no - my baby hunger is showing. I miss babies, but not pregnancy - no way.
Hope you feel better soon.

You're doing the things that matter most—the things that they'll remember later. And they'll look back with awe at the amazing mom (and I'm sure dad) that they were blessed to have in their lives.

Clearly, they have been taught what matters; more by your actions than even your words.

Hang in and hang on.

We're all pulling for you.

Melinda, she is still likes a good snuggle. It's that baby of the family syndrome.

Mary, my oldest is actually very sweet unless you cross her. I don't miss pregnancy either. Blech. Thank you. glad that part of life is over.

John, I am trying very hard to focus on what matters. It isn't always easy and sometimes I waste a quart of energy trying to scrub the floors but I am learning. To put my energy where it matters most. As always you and your family are in my prayers.

Shari, Thanks for the well wishes. I have a pretty steep climb ahead of me. But I'm hopeful for a better future.
