Mad Hatter

This is half of me . . . and my favorite hat.

This is me climbing in said hat.
This is the rest me . . . and my hat.

Tell me you like my hat.

I like your hat. I like the climbing photo, it makes me want to dig out all my climbing gear and head to the mountains. Almost.

I never would have roped up without you Meadow. Isn't that crazy? You talking me into taking rock climbing instead of ceramics changed everything.

You should pull out the shoes. It's been a while for me too. But once I started climbing it all came back to me. I forgot how much I liked the feeling.

I love your hat! It makes me want one just like yours. I give it two thumbs up. (The mountain climbing frightens me though, I'd be the first one to fall off the side of the rock.)

I do like your hat but I still like you best! And I never knew you climbed. How cool is that?

Suddenly I've been transformed into a character in Go Dogs Go: I do like your hat! What a party hat!

Tell your daughter that she and her friends have great literary taste!

OK, so I "get" the hat thing. I am totally a hat kind of girl....but possibly for different reasons. For me a hat and a pair of sunglasses are "permission from God" to do and say anything I want and not be held accountable! I become whoever I want to be and cure a bad hair day all at once. My hats silence that wimpy little voice in side me that makes me second guess myself and tells the world that yes, I am brave enough to wear this ridiculous hat in public. Needless to say, I wear them a lot....
